DR. ERIC R. JONES

Sustainable Futures Project and its Chief Executive Officer and Founder, Dr. Eric R. Jones has been serving under-represented and under-resourced communities of Los Angeles and by broader extension, Southern California, since 2000. The passion to serve his community was instilled in him as a child and reinforced through his study and career choices, as an adult. For Eric, serving his community is more than a mere job, it’s a calling. To hear Eric, speak of his own upbringing is to realize that his passion could also be defined as a legacy. His grandmother raised him to not only be concerned about his fellow man/woman, but to do something about that concern. It starts with awareness, and very soon after becomes activity and/or activism. Here is what Eric has had to say about his own upbringing, “The lessons my grandmother instilled in me laid the foundation for what I now call Sustainable Futures Project., a not for- profit organization that provides residential housing facilities for the homeless women and children.
